Perfection Group Names New President

CINCINNATI, February 25, 2008 –
Cincinnati-based Perfection Group, Inc. has named a new President to provide leadership and drive strategic planning to position the company at the forefront of the mechanical contractor industry.

Tony Apro, who has been with Perfection Group for more than 13 years in sales and management positions, has been promoted to President.

Apro is leading Perfection Group’s new direction, encompassing a revitalized strategic plan, company mission, and core values to ensure project efficiency, quality, legendary customer serviceSM and cost effective management of resources.

Perfection Group, which began in 1951, has grown into a leading mechanical contractor for commercial heating and air conditioning needs across the Midwest.

Apro took the helm of Perfection Group’s operations in July 2007 after being appointed by CEO Jack Albrecht. “Tony’s leadership, vision and extensive industry knowledge is what the team at Perfection Group needs to bring focus to our core business objectives, our customers and our outstanding services,” Albrecht said.

Perfection Group, comprised of 142 people located in five states, has stayed ahead of a burgeoning market through innovation and strategy. Perfection Group’s mechanical and service divisions specialize in unique market segments to provide customers with leading edge services.

One of the company’s primary focuses is on green initiatives, including retro-commissioning, evaluation and reworking of existing buildings to maximize energy efficiency and cost savings; and green building design, with the goal to reduce negative impacts on the environment and the building’s occupants.

“The company’s strategy to grow outward and upward is closely linked with our green initiatives,” Apro said. “Perfection’s ability to thrive in a competitive market relies on being well ahead of the curve when it comes to our services saving customers considerable amounts of money on their energy usage and operational costs.”

Apro brings more than 26 years of strategic planning, sales and marketing experience to his new role. Before joining Perfection in 1995, Apro spent 13 years with Honeywell where he quickly worked his way into management, leading key business units and vertical markets. He is a 1994 recipient of the prestigious Lund Award recognizing Honeywell’s top individuals who develop the talents of others while meeting or exceeding their business objectives and financial goals.

Apro graduated from Centre College of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and minor in economics and earned a Masters of Science from the University of Cincinnati in 1982.
