CINCINNATI, September 2008 – Perfection Group, family-owned and local leader in the design and building of mechanical and environmental systems for industrial, commercial and institutional facilities, is taking its green initiative to the next level.
The Company has announced the creation of Green Building Solutions that focuses on energy-efficient facility operations.

John Albrecht has been named Director of the new entity and will lead the Company’s comprehensive green project strategies throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee and West Virginia. Albrecht’s promotion comes as a result of Perfection Group’s revitalized strategic plan, which calls for a concentrated effort on green initiatives.
“Our green strategy involves a two pronged approach,” said Albrecht. “First, retro-commissioning, which is the evaluation and reworking of existing buildings to maximize energy efficiency and cost savings, and second, is green building design, with the goal to reduce negative impacts on the environment and the building’s occupants.”
Albrecht is a Certified Energy Manager, Certified Green Building Engineer and a registered Professional Engineer.
He graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1992 with a degree in Electrical Engineering and earned his MBA from Xavier in 1999. During his 16 years with the company he has worked in sales, marketing, estimating and engineering.
To help him carry out the company’s mission, Albrecht has assembled a team of three certified energy and business development managers. Al Lindeman will focus on Ohio, Mark Falahee on Indiana and John Settle on Kentucky. Each will be supported with extensive technical support in HVAC, electrical, lighting, controls and energy services.
“These men are invaluable to us in this role because they have the expertise to go to sites and design a concept that is Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified,” continued Albrecht. “Facility owners are looking for ways to help enhance the bottom line and our goal is to help them do just that by providing exceptional knowledge, experience and our legendary service.”
According to Tony Apro, President of Perfection Group, the Company firmly believes its Green Building Solutions are recession proof.
“The Company’s strategy to grow is linked directly to our green initiatives. Perfection Group’s ability to thrive in a competitive market relies on being well ahead of the curve when it comes to our services, which translates into saving customers considerable amounts of money on their energy usage and operational costs,” said Apro.
