Challenge
An HVAC system needed to be replaced with one that would maintain temperature and humidity levels in surgery suites in accordance with hospital guidelines and regulations. The existing system needed to remain functional during installation. Existing infrastructure, operational requirements and budget needed to be considered. |
Perfection’s design included structural modifications to the building, supply and return ductwork and clean filtration for surgery suites. Installation work began while the old system was still operational, and the final work was completed on a weekend when the offices were closed. Perfection recommended a service maintenance program to keep the equipment running efficiently.
Perfection designed and installed a new HVAC system that met the surgery center’s exacting requirements. The new system maintains temperature and humidity levels throughout the year as required by their governing guidelines. Installation of the new system did not interrupt business hours. The new system was operational by Monday morning after completing the system transition on a weekend.
